Matnsaz Available for Pre-order on the App Store

As of a few moments ago, you can now find and pre-order the Matnsaz app on the iOS App Store. We expect a full launch of Matnsaz on November 15, 2022.

We are heading to a culmination of a 5-year journey of research, testing and development. I am proud, and eager to receive feedback from an even broader audience on how to improve Matnsaz. With your support, I believe that we can build a flourishing technological future for the Urdu language. Ideally, learnings from our work on Urdu will help develop similar ideas for other languages in the region, as well as other under-represented cultures in the world.

We have currently paused new sign-ups for our Beta program. In the future, we may reopen the Beta program to provide early access to new features, so as to receive valuable product feedback.

Current Beta testers may choose to remain in the Beta program, or switch to the App Store version of the app for a more stable experience. Please note, that on switching to the App Store version of the app you will lose any saved settings and words that you have added to the Matnsaz dictionary by manually selecting a suggestion. I’d like to offer my sincere gratitude to all our Beta testers over the last few years, who have provided invaluable support to the development of Matnsaz.
